He could spend 8 gold and clear my board, ending with a lvl 3 midori and a fencer, but that assumes either rampant anf FF, and both fencers in hand, pretty small odds. And his codex has little response for dealing with big heroes like grave and rook except basilisks. Potent basilisk might be a problem eventually. More likely he techs up and plays a unit or 2 Not sure if he will go for frogs and finesse or balance. Probably not feral.

I REALLY want to stop giving him cards. I can clear basilisk with grave, or reversal, or drakk + sparring partner. But the only way to kill centaur is sword, which kinda sucks, but probably worth it, avoiding a growthed centaur.

And now he has Hastey Mimics or more basilisks, sigh
Yeah, I have nothing. I could keep playing stuff, but I have no gameplan to ever get back to parity. Reversal was key.
gg. @FrozenStorm
You sure @EricF ? It doesn’t feel like you’re quite that far gone. I admit I probably wouldn’t bet on you given the board state but maybe worth playing one or two more turns out?
I felt the gold advantage was going to become insurmountable for me, so I too show surprise. I will also say Reversal was a must tech, due in part to the mono madness green vs white matchups.
If I had drawn a Mimic this turn, I could put up a fight. Lacking that, I’m now tech locked even if zhavier plays nothing from hand on his next turn, and I’ll continue falling further behind to the birds / anything in future turns.
Really man? Why not just build tech 3 and tech in t rexes?
Look at what my board is after that play: it’s literally just a hero. And even if the tech 3 distracts for a turn, i’m still going down to nothing, and then trying to defend with flying mimics against about 15 atk (ie lethal) or other things that die to birds.
Basically, I couldn’t beat zhavier’s board with any line and no gross errors on his part, and he could also play cards from hand…
It’s not a hero and nothing, you can play Centaur and Fencer, and you still had Huntress. That’s 4 things in patrol.
