Thoughts
Two Step turns this from a decent turn into a crushing turn. I’m dumping some excess gold into my heroes to try and keep them around for next turn, when I’ll hopefully have lethal
In hindsight I had a bad conscience in bringing you to allow thehug0naut to read my thoughts. This possibility of having to expect IPNs definitely made a good point into teching tiny b’s.
Obviously this might have been the case either way, but I still feel bad about this, so sorry for that!
You can take it out on me in our upcoming tournament match
I had to make good decisions every step of the way @dwarddd otherwise Zane and friends can easily get a sudden big swing.
Despite this result I think Anarchy+Ninjutsu seems quite promising, Chaos Mirror is proper scary with 6 printed attack! Maybe it’s just a case of optimising the starter/third spec? I don’t know if @zango has tried IPN with forecasted units but it strikes me as a theory worth testing. Nullcraft becoming a 6 attack hasted flyer with Chaos Mirror also seems worth the price of admission.
(Random other aside, but if IPN is really just too weak then maybe it should only get -1/-1 for each unit in play, not units and heroes?)
Hah, I wouldn’t feel so bad about the intel @zango, yes it was a hint about what might be coming but I would have chosen Balance regardless vs Red + Anarchy and I almost certainly would defaulted to at least one Basilisk early to keep Zane away.
It was actually the board trade in P1T2 that gave me the strongest IPN signal and the main reason I opted for 2x Tiny B’s. It seemed like a really good window to focus on strong patrolling and teching up, given that the threat of Zane was off the table for a turn.
Nope, IPN into Omega was not on the list of things I tested. My main focus was trying to get firehouse work, but also some hero ulti strategies failed horribly
