[XCAFS24] Round2: P1 Unity vs P2 dwarddd

Edited. Sorry for the hickup. Maybe there is still hope?

As Grave’s sparkshot is not optional, I want to highlight this one damage to maestro.

okay so lobbers, grave dying a hero’s death on his own sword and then jaina spells to hit base, altho can’t do much about that beyond avoiding putting something sql that he can whack before doing it

WOW! I knew Grave could suicide and so thought there was a chance you have enough jaina burn to kill me, but 1dmg away, jeez - i feel i have luckily snatched this win from the jaws of death

GG and that was v much fun

@zango

This loss hurts even more than this one against Bryce_The_Rice did. I should have gone to bed before logging in Turn 8. I knew immediately that this inaccuracy could be fatal.

Nevertheless: In my opinion you played a very strong game, especially your turn 7 was a real beauty. Good luck for the next games! :pray: :codexjaina:

I know well the pain of making a turn while tired and realising the next day what an absolute blunder it was.

Interestingly on dwarddd’s turn 6 there was a slightly different line that looked better on paper but probably would’ve lost them the game!
Attacking with the messenger instead of turtle to maintain an extra health in patrol and potential healing seems quite good!

Hah! You’re totally right i would have kept the turtle probably - the messenger, despite being at the start of the turn, was a total afterthought.

With hindsight, it was a smart way to draw the same number of cards as not playing the messenger but exclude the messenger from the reshuffle :wink:
