Hi @CarpeGuitarrem, are you ready to start pod3? Either way I’ll start the thread. Just let me know if you want to wait for your other matches before jumping into this one.

Interesting start. I have options here. Did not draw Nullcraft, so I think my main options are: bounce Tinkerer (and have a hero in play, probably Geiger), which leaves Zango at 4 gold and 6 cards in hand, or set up a hero and a Neo Plexus. I actually really like the latter, because it punishes a Tinkerer tap for Plasmodium or Fargo by blowing it out of the water next turn. The main threat here is Time Spiral plus Tinkerer on Plasmodium played out next turn, which I can stop with a Forgotten Fighter, but I think I’m more likely to get something out of giving myself more material to strike back with instead. Mox is an easy worker here because Forgotten Fighter hard counters it.

I can guarantee a Plasmodium with Time Spiral next turn. Maybe I should just use my own Time Spiral to delay it? I can Time Spiral + Battle Suits to clear out the Fading Argonaut and kill Tinkerer. Leaves me 1 gold after Tech 1. Double tech Seers to mess with Plasmo some more.

Awesome place to be in! Only two out of three technician draws would have gotten me there, but the second Seer was just so sweet! Awesome

really tempting to go for Tech1 break, but I’ll stick to my strategy, especially as a maxband Vir is not exactly bad in this situation

On the other hand it’s very fortunate that he drew them both last turn and not this one
And I really have to look up the rules how fading queue works. Can a rememberer fetch himself from discard? Can I queue the triggers in such a way that the newly fetched card directly has to remove a time rune?

I can flicker one Seer to set up a Golgort fade and Time Spiral the other one. So then I midband Geiger to dig for something else.
Big turn coming. Feels absolutely awesome. First time ever to properly play a TD for me, after seeing dwarddd do so much crazy stuff with purple in the last tourney it feels just crazy to be the one to do such things!

Thoughts
Well my plan was to trade vir against Hyperion and to break tech 2 with nullcraft, but when presented with a top decked second TD, I’ll definitely take it
I considered it but figured I could develop more board presence effectively with the Hyperion play. Might have been wrong. Should have pinged Rememberer though
