Thoughts

Midband Bigby and the Fencers kill Drakk, but that still leaves Charge as an option for bringing in a Firebird with haste. I can’t leave Drakk out to haste things for free, though.

Firebirds can be dealt with using Leaping Lizard or Cloud Sprite. I’ll take at least one Lizard, since I don’t have anything particularly good on defence yet. The other one can be Star-Crossed Starlet or Injunction. I’ll go with Starlet, keep zhavier’s heroes on their toes.

Yuck. I can’t even bring in Onimaru to help defend here. If I’m really lucky, zhavier has no targeting spells in hand and the Firebird can’t pass the Aven. This game looks like it’ll come down to holding off Firebirds and Sharks. Brave Knight should be nice on the ground. For the Firebirds, I want Leaping Lizard or Cloud Sprite. The latter’s more dangerous in the face of Kidnapping.

Thoughts

I can pop aven with zane, bombaster or drakk hasted firebat. Mid Drakk means firebird can break techs so I should try to get that. Bombaster means i can use pillage to steal gold. Do I want more cards or to steal his gold?
