Could kill Vandy with maxbanded Rook plus sacrificing Rambaster, but would need to skip a worker which is a big concession so early in the game (unfortunately no Mad Man this hand, otherwise could have done without skipping worker). I’ve been getting good results with this deck going Growth Tech2, using MoLaC followed by Surprise Attacks, but Voidblocker would really slow down attacks to activate MoLaC if he goes Demonology (quite likely). So think a better plan here is to put some damage on his Tech1 this turn using Rook’s midband to bypass patrol. Then go Anarchy Tech2, with dual threat of stealth damage -> earthquakes and eventual gunships. Will also look to add Entangling Vines for removal and Chaos Mirror to steal attack from the big guys. Though Plague Spitters are a pretty effective way to downgrade Rook if I maxband, at least that 3 cost next turn means he can’t float $1 into T5 for the maxband Garth - bring in unit trick without skipping a worker.

Trade-off for me is whether to go down to 3 cards to lower the chance of him breaking through, while lowering the chance of me drawing a Gunship next turn (58% vs 72% for a 3 vs 4 card draw). For the 4 card option, think he can break my Tech3 if he has Doom Grasp or Nether Drain plus one additional removal card (Deteriorate, STW, Shadow Blade), which seems overall quite likely. So going for the 3 card option.
