Well, pros: I am in very good position to trade favorably on the board next turn, he has no access to a lot of his deck (vandy and garth spells)
Cons: my draw for next turn was about as terrible as you could ask for: no hidden ninja, no porcupine, no glorious ninja, and has Jade Fox so I can’t go tech 3 effectively next turn…
This has been a rough game, I REALLY should have teched the other GN > Jade Fox…

GG WP, I really thought I had it made earlier, but you had some solid plays to fend me off. Tough going against black, I feel like youre always a bad draw or 1 missed patrol away from disaster
On P1 turn 8, did you make the same mistake of letting someone attack non-patrolling Setsuki without paying gold? Given that he ended up floating I doubt it affected the match, but you should keep an eye on that
Yes, I did, thank you for pointing it out. There’s a lot to keep track of Hindsight, it would have left Youngbuck one gold shy of discarding my two cards, one of the two of Snapback and Hidden Ninja, which would have either delayed metamorph or given it one less target.
It’s my fault and I’m taking my loss for this game for my own failure to check my opponent’s moves, but I’d be interested in an alternative turn 9 from @Youngbuck where there was one less gold for our own reflection on how our gameplans might have gone differently
Glad to do them! It helps me resume my train of thought when there’s long breaks between games, it really helped me learn when others did it so I feel obliged to pay it forward, and it ultimately helps me in situations like these where people find my mistakes for me and help me get better!
