[details=Thoughts][spoiler]OK, so he killed Jaina with his own Flame Arrow… But that cost him 4 gold to remove what I payed 2 gold for. Probably should have patrolled her in Scavenger or Technician, but it still was not bad for me. Got some good value out of Zane, since the 2 gold I put into maxing him transferred to Drakk and maxing him let me kill his Jaina. Now he has the double threat of Bloodrage Ogre and either mid- or max-band Drakk to respond to.

I’m teching for Blood Tech II now, since I should be able to build the Tech II building next turn and draw them next cycle. Hoping this works out![/spoiler][/details]

I think you forgot to discard to Imp and/or forgot to draw from Zane. I think that the current number of cards in hand is right, but I believe that there should be one less card left in your deck.

That looks right, though he didn’t play the card that got hit, so he can just move 1 random card from deck to discard pile, and carry on.

That was an interesting interaction with Rambasa Twin and Kidnapping… At least this should buy me a turn to get geared up for a real assault. Sadly missed drawing a Tech II unless I get lucky with the Technician draw (and that’s assuming Drakk dies). Still, I’ve got my win condition in the deck now! If this goes on long enough for me to cycle again, I might add Bloodlust and a Land Octopus.

Wow, that would have been way easier if he hadn’t managed to get Surprise Attack with that discard. Midband Drakk, summon Zane and cast the spell, wipe his board with 7 gold and 1 card. The remaining 3 gold could have been used to have Makeshift Rambaster break his Tower and either hire a worker or chip at a building. Instead, I had to use all but 1 of my gold just to wipe his board, and I decided to get the extra gold and thin my deck instead of doing 2 to some building (though maybe I should have had Mad Man attack his Tower instead of turning it into a worker). I do have a Crashbarrow in hand, so as long as he doesn’t have two Abominations in hand things aren’t looking horrible…

Zane’s still alive as a 3/2, right?

Welp, that all lined up perfectly. I guess I had even better luck with that draw than he did with the Thieving Imp discard! Hasted Bugblatter + Crashbarrow is scary, especially when the opponent’s patrol just got wiped. Ironically, it would have been better for him to put Gorgon in Lookout in this case. Not that it would have mattered, since I had 1 gold left at the end of this play, but that’s the one I ended up wanting to steal! Still, that was a well played game on his part. I didn’t see any glaring mistakes anywhere in his play, so I’m especially happy I was able to win a real match!

Ah, so I got sharks with Imp that turn. Yea, that would have been game too probably, you could have gotten Tech II.

And you got the Bugblatter from Gorgon, nice. It didn’t really matter where I patrolled the Gorgon or Abom, if you had kidnapping my board was cleared anyway. I mean sure you got a card, but the end result would probably be the same.

At the very least not drawing that would have reduced the damage to your base by 6 that turn. Hardly insurmountable, but it would have delayed it by at least one turn. My next hand did have another Bugblatter, Charge and Flame Arrow guaranteed, and before I saw that I had lethal I teched both Shoddy Gliders, so I could have chipped you out in a turn or two unless you got something seriously good out there. Still, that was a great game! Now that I know I didn’t mess up the math anywhere (neither you nor EricF has jumped on anything), I can finally go to bed… Good night!
