I think he can pretty much just run for Gunships and win here and I will have nothing to do about it. Really needed to patrol TD somewhere else last turn, but oh well. Just tough in general when he draws double Lobbers like that.
I could go Jail and skip worker, but I don’t think that would actually be helping myself too much. I think my only hope is to beat him in the tech rush.

I definitely want to pick up that juicy float with a pirate-boosted Pillage. The problem is I’ll be going down even further on cards… I could use Zane’s maxband to pick a card up, but I think I can get a better target for it if I wait. Even with just 2 draws, I should have a 2/3 chance to draw a tech 2. And if not, I could pour some gold into Drakk, or rush to tech 3.
I could also kill Quince, but I’m actually fine with him sticking around, and keeping Frozen from bringing in Bigby or Oni.
Why do you still have Pillage lol?
I’m just gonna fold there. Not worth prolonging the inevitable.

I’m debating between Jaina and Drakk as my starting hero… If I’d had Mad Man in my next hand I would’ve considered an early midband Drakk, but as it is I’ll probably just play Brogre and tech up.

Ugh, can’t hero in Elite b/c Sparkshot, can’t Tower + Inspector b/c the tower would get wrecked by Rambaster, can’t float big b/c Pillage… This blows lol
I think Aven is my best bet here. He has no immediate non-patroller targeting (maybe he workered Bloodburn XD, so backline-ing it means I can get it to hit back. Fire Dart is the cheapest way to deal with it, and is a bad tech in general. Maybe I’m not giving illusions enough credit in this deck! As long as they aren’t patrolling, they’re actually pretty bomb at dealing with Jaina.

I’m expecting Taxman here, so grabbing Injunction. Also Scribe b/c he’s just so helpful in stabilizing pressure. Bigby should be relatively safe, but just in case I’m going to stick him in elite. Not let Zane get freebie levels. Jaina can’t suicide without healing Bigby, so sparkshot isn’t a concern in this case.

Killing Bigby with Ember Sparks is a clean 1 gold profit, as far as I’m concerned. I would’ve liked to break the tech 1, but that would have to wait. I can only hope Frozen didn’t draw 2 Cadets or w/e.
It might be too soon to tech Hotter Fire, as I may not be able to afford teching up next turn (if, for instance I want a Charged GPT). Plus, Frozen could force me to reshuffle early with Porkhand. But I’m willing to risk it.

Yikes! That was rough. But this is kinda okay. I’ll tech Scribe and Hound, play the Scribe, and if I can get a Jaina kill w/ MTruth (33%, not bad not great odds), great! If not, I can just Newsman + Oni, kill the Dog, and invite him to spend resources breaking my tech 1. I have Injunction, I should be able to slow him down well enough… Grabbing Hound and Scribe, they seem to compliment my general deck direction nicely.
Success! All that money on Jaina, only to get kilt. I can take this in some fun directions from here with a Midband Quince! Let’s roll, see how we fare
