I considered patrolling but he keeps arresting my patrollers. Heā€™s putting pressure with Oni so Iā€™ll have to bring a hero soon but hopefully with plasmo next turn he wonā€™t be able to patrol as he wants. Heā€™s likely to kill the tinkerer but I have both seer and time spiral to remove the last rune from plasmod

Thoughts

Obviously skipping a worker is not ideal, but Iā€™mp playing with KotC and Seers, so I hope I can keep up with a low econ for a little while. Heā€™s putting on a lot of pressures and I have to keep Prynn alive, which explains the unfavorable trade of FF with TD - at least I prevented the Technician draw, and hopefully I can save Prynn for another turn and cycle through much of the deck with another temporal reserach, getting the seers and Knights out. Elite training on Oni would screw me.
Jail is a bit of an odd choice given the knights who donā€™t go there, but it does hurt my seers and I would have drawn three cards if I could play my Fargo as well. Spent my money in case Tax Collector shows up, and Iā€™m expecting Brave Knights, Cadets or Hounds.

TD is untargetable. You can kill TD and Bounce BI, but not the other way round.

Sorry, I thought he was only unstoppable when attacking buildings. Iā€™ll do it the other way around, and you get the card instead of the gold.

Thoughts

So, manufactured truth found my Plasmodium. Thatā€™ a bummer and I clearly havenā€™t thought about it. I guess thatā€™s a weakness of a T1 rush of Knights and Argos, but I donā€™t have much of a choice now because I donā€™t have much money, so I have to hang on. Iā€™m not actually sure what to do, I couldnā€™t think of a way to get a hero in without getting it killed next turn and it didnā€™t seem worth it to pay 2, give him free levels only for temporal reserach or time spiral. I didnā€™t patrol the Seer because he can just arrest it which is the worst fate for a seer (I want to have it killed and reuse its ability), which is how he could also get rid of a hero if I brought one out. If heā€™s bringing out more Cadets and Knights, heā€™ll have plenty of efficient little guys and I need somehow to rise above that. Not sure that KotC is any good for that, so I may be toast already.

I think you mostly hit it on the head already, Blueā€™s ability to copy units makes Plasmodium/KotC very risky. The main mistake I make with purple is forgetting how powerful their tech 0 units are (Mox, Fargo esp), with Battlesuits (donā€™t be afraid to go down a card in the first few turns to get battlesuits out, Fargo/Neo + Suits + Worker is a very good T2). Purple has some of the best Tech 2 and card draw in the game, so going down a card or two to get there early is fine (Just remember that if Quince is around, those hyperions may be coming straight back at you if youā€™re not careful). P1 without mox as purple is hard, I generally feel like I need to apply pressure as that is the P1 advantage, but the purple starter/heroā€™s are not the best for this. I generally need the high tempo play in the Tech 1 stage to push out (Stewardess, Now! etc).
