Thoughts

Truth is complex! I reckon there’s probably more effective ways of going about this turn, but with White’s hero-centric strategy, I think the best approach is to try and keep them under wraps.

With Speech being Free I don’t have to protect Newsy here quite so much. Glorious Ninja, or maybe Porcupine may come off the deck here for Frozen, but neither poses a massive threat right now.

I just see a minor issue: Levels don’t fizzle for onis death, grave will get them. Still though, I don’t think I can come back from that, so I’ll scoop. GG WP!

Well I have to say, it’s nice to rack up a win - it’s been a pretty grueling series so far.

On review it seems like something reasonably lucky went my way baaasically every turn this game.

T1 - You didn’t get a great opening hand, and I was lucky to get Traffic Director No 1-drops as Blue P2 can be tough. All up - I was able to get Oni out safely.
T2 - You ended up working Grappling Hook.
T3 - You didn’t have Snapback against maxxed Oni.
T4 - I strongly considering playing Newsman to block … Reversal. Didn’t think of Snapback. :crazy_face:
T5 - I managed to pull Newsy again and got the hint that Earthquake was coming. I was also holding Hound and Macciatus with was pretty handy after Tech II coming online.

Things get less “lucky” here because I’m looking at your hands. But still …

T6 - I happened to be holding MTruth and was able to get to Setsuki. Scribe, Lawful Search and maxband Bigby all lined up for a big impact.
T7 - Eyes of the Chancellor and Free Speech were about the best cards in my deck to and out they came via card draw shennanigans.

I ain’t the greatest player, but it feels to me like Blue has to get a bit lucky in this matchup. Time will tell if P1 is a different story - I’ll start a thread shortly.
