Ugh the lineups… why couldn’t those hounds be dead draws from the Oni max turn??? I think the right call is try to hit the tech2 now to sputter the engine, so teching 2x Emblem to try and break through. I’m 71% to get at least 1 of them or Now!, but only 14% to get 2 though… Ugh this feels unwinnable. Surely the lineup is there for Macciatus + Reteller right now… Idk what to do honestly, this is really oppressive


In some cases yes. Interesting spec that is strong against some decks and nearly unplayable to others.

I thought you would go for double KotC in response to Jail although I’m not sure if that would get you to Tech II. I agree that Purple needs Tech II units to win so delaying Tech II may not be a good idea as Shadow suggested.

Even though making the opponent pay for the fee feels rewarding and it sucks to pay the fee as a builder but sometimes just biting the bullet and advancing through pays off later. Was my lesson learned in rare occasions where I faced Blue starter.

You ignored Jail which I thought was a good move. I think same goes to BI. And sometimes Max Oni. This is only sometimes though because Max Oni can lead to a win con. Illusions can’t be ignored since it’s the core of B v P. I can’t really speak for Purple so just saying from the Blue perspective.

Yeah I don’t feel like ignoring Max Oni is super viable but maybe just Argo bodies in front of it is sufficient until there’s definitely Art of War, that’s a risky gamble though.
