GL HF!
EDIT: @Nekoatl btw, just so you are aware, Hardtimes mill + Rich earth results in your workers costing $1 not free. Its a weird interaction but I can dig up the sharpo quote for you if you want.

Gotta get that Tower up before I can start playing things like the Merfolk that would easily die to Nullcraft.

He has no haste, so if he has no board I don’t have to worry about counter attacks. I still don’t understand the attraction of verdent tree against P2 Purple. You know I’m trying to build tech 2 turn 3, so why apply zero presure by paying 5 gold and card on Turn 2 to have NO board presence???

I’m feeling a bit cramped in terms of hand size, leading me to play cards that I otherwise wouldn’t just to get down to 3 cards each turn. It feels a bit bad to deviate from my desired strategy for this reason, but on the other hand, getting more stuff out of my hand shortens my card cycle. It probably means, however, that I should be taking advantage of other patrol slot bonuses rather than Technician.

"

BTW I noticed we mucked up, you couldn’t have built your tower on turn 3 it should have cost 4. (the multi color penalty applies to the first tech building or add on you build…)

So the choice here is kill the tree or kill the Sparing Partner, if the tree lives he could drop a YLD next turn which would be a pain to deal with… Lets kill the tree, I like the tech 2 advantage.

One of these days, I’ll learn to stop making that mistake. If you want, we can say this game is invalid and doesn’t count for scoring purposes.

When against specs with no haste, just keep wiping their board. Lost the 50/50 on the TR into TD to break his tech 2 (that would have ended the game I think) but it should mean that next turn should be rather explosive.

I love that you tried to make guardian at the gates do something. I really applaud your effort. But it is still a pretty terrible card.

I am considering playing monoblue just to dethrone Shadow.

If you think mono-blue is the answer go for it, means I can actually have a map that works for purple as my base :stuck_out_tongue:

I have another idea, but it needs some fleshing out before I try it.
