Thoughts

Normally going down to such a low hand is a bad idea, but my deck is thin enough that it doesn’t really matter and could actually be a benefit, as there is less of a deck to draw through. Put down the extra Panda to ensure I get MoLC off, which I don’t actually expect to be permanent or a win condition now as it would most likely be quickly removed, but the fact that Pirate takes his turn right before me means that I can still reap MoLC’s benefit for at least a round, if only for defense. Similarly I don’t expect my unit advantage to last long, there are too many ways things could go sideways now that everyone’s at tech II, and bite me if Shadow don’t have JD teched in already… it’s his shot at getting even on board. So plan is to move towards Tech III quickly, techs for the next two turns are tentatively Guargum+Promise of Payment, and Stampede x2, swapping in Oathkeeper or another MoLC depending on the situation. By skill or luck (I’d like to believe its the former, but it’s probably the latter as seen by the close call with Pirate’s FS…) I’ve played out every turn so far as I planned them out to be, with minor changes based on FREE GOLD avaliable. Let’s see how long that luck can last. With my set up right now, I believe even if I don’t get to pull off the win condition I’d survive well into the long haul… others need 14 damage just to disable one of my tech buildings. We’ll see how it goes.
