Thanks, good catch! My brain always thinks about the physical game so I forgot the runes do actually exist even though Iā€™d never place them IRL

Not quite as good but clears his patrol and denies a card. Iā€™ve reassessed my priorities and decided to aim for Tech II blood pretty hard in the rest of this cycle. If Iā€™d only had 1 more gold Iā€™d have been able to worker too which would have been nice. At least Iā€™ll have Vandy back next turn so hopefully I can keep pressuring him enough to let me Tech up.

Kidnapping allows a Tech break, but Iā€™d need to be correct on which of Tech I/II/III to pick, while Nature Reclaims eliminates Graveyard permanently. Heā€™s in a great position to win, but I think the worst case is him insuring, trading/StW-ing and replaying Plague Lords to keep those arrival -1/-1 runes flowing onto all my units and heroes, plus the threat of constantly replaying Insurance Agents. Letā€™s try the Reclaims line and clear his board and see how I get on with my draws. Hoping for lots of Blood and Vandy Spells. If he teched a Gryphon Iā€™m probably dead.

GG @charnel_mouse I really enjoyed that game, though I definitely messed up some decision making. There were a couple of turns I could have either broken Tech Lab or Tech buildings but I didnā€™t really know what you were up to until it was too late :joy:

GG! If you see a dual-spec with Law, always assume Insurance Agent abuse :smile: Blood II is definitely the way to go against Disease II, though, if you hadnā€™t delayed Tech II for so long I think youā€™d have been OK. Your teching of Nature Reclaims and Kidnapping was on-point, and you can see I struggled to land a decisive blow.

Yeah I definitely regret delaying Tech II, think I must have had my Vandy/Meta blinkers on! I really felt confident after I broke the Graveyard but you recovered from that really well. I have to say, the interaction with Rambasas and Graveyard is particularly brilliant, Iā€™ll certainly not forget that in a hurry!

Best of luck in the rest of the tournament, the burning legion decks look absolutely terrifying so I think everyone else needs as much good fortune as they can get!
