Well something I’ve learned from watching people play this is if I’m consistently getting bad draws, it usually means I’m teching wrong

Yeah that makes sense. With the window of timing, you had basically one turn of getting to draw ultimate, with (10x9x8/12x11x10) odds of not drawing either copy. Which I think comes down to a 55/45 split. Not a terrible risk, but definitely a risk compared to having a more flexible plan.
