Quick to get to Disease, that could cause some problems. Time to get in a second Kidnapping, so that there is at least a chance I can destroy any abominations. What other thing can I tech that could deal with an Abomination decently… Hooded Executioner might be able to, assuming I can limit his options for smaller buffer units.

I was looking at your orbits, and I think something went wrong with your discard pile at the end of your T3. You have 4 cards listed as being there, but there should be 5. You should have the card you discarded to Imp, Pestering Haunt (which was killed on my T2) 2 cards you teched at the start of T3 and the Deteriorate you cast on T3.
@EricF How do we fix this? As @zhavier didn’t reshuffle until the end of his T4, he should be able to just fix his discard pile and then redraw his hand from the end of turn T4 (plus the draw from the tech skeleton I killed last turn), right?
@zhavier the Deteriorate got lost, and your end-of-Turn 4 counts are off (4 workers + 2 cards in play + 3 in hand + 6 in deck = 15, but you should have 16). Just re-draw your one post-reshuffle card with the Deteriorate back in your deck.

Huh, no tech 2 cards yet. Well, maybe I can do something interesting next turn with whatever he puts down. There is a decent chance I can kill it regardless of what he plays, either by kidnapping or execution. So tech choices, I’ll leave the other crashbarrow because I am going to reshuffle before I can resummon Garth. On that same note, I will grab a Doom Grasp. I still want to grab a unit for the other tech slot… Shoddy glider is too easy to nullify by abominations, so its ogre or bugblatter. Bugblatter seems the better choice, because then all my x/1s can at least do a point of damage to his base.

Orpal Buffer, fun times! Executioner Hasted by Drakk? Executioner + Crashbarrow can get me a dead Tech 2. I can afford to put the other Crashbarrow in for tech, because this turns Crashbarrow will be in the discard after the reshuffle for Garth to Fetch next turn.
When i saw disease, I knew I needed to do something, because Abom would wreck almost all my nifty unit tricks. And Kidnapping is almost universally good against black. I was pretty worried I would end up with Kidnapping and no way to actually kill the thing I kidnapped. Also, a really nasty trick I have pulled? Kidnap something, kill it, and drop it into my own graveyard. Then when I resummon it, I am its permanent controller.
I thought you might have wanted to kill Garth instead of my graveyard, but it ended up working out, and I was also hoping you wouldn’t have both Deteriorate and Sac the Weak.
I was really surprised you played Orpal instead of a 2/2 or 3/3 something to buffer the Abomination against Sac the Weak. Looking, I guess all you had was a thieving Imp, which has the added benefit of maybe hitting my removal…
I appear to be on a roll this tournament, though I have won by my opponent’s bad luck more than skill at least once…
Yeah, in hindsight I think I made a lot of mistakes. Teching Shadow Blade early was a bad idea, and I couldn’t find a T3 that I liked. Blood scared me, and I thought Aboms would be a good answer, but I telegraphed the play way too hard, and you have so many answers to it. I didn’t even think about StW or Executioner, and I should really have played the Imp in hindsight…
Oh well, I’ve had a lot of luck so far this tournament also, and I’m definitely due a loss!
GL in the rest of the tournament, I have a sneaking suspicion we might meet again!
