no, u do not pay the resist 1 for looky, only the 1 for cala. so still 1 gold too much :wink:

I was confused by the wording where it says ā€œmove and then damageā€. I assumed the new patrol slot took effect.

In light of that I edited my turn slightly in order to reflect my original plan that I was woefully only 1 gold short of.
Change log:

  • Spend extra gold to midband Draak(lvl 4)
  • Mad man attacks and kills Galina instead of patrolling.

[details=Thoughts]Okay I might be in trouble. The only way to kill both Zane and the Tech Lab is to Stealth Calamandra and use a hasted stealthy Mimic.

Okay letā€™s consider my options.

a) Kill Drakk and Zane. This would probably leave me with enough board to survive a Gunship, but it will be unpleasant.

b) Kill Drakk and Tech Lab. I think Iā€™m fine if he does not have Maximum Anarchy - otherwise it feels a lot like losing in slow motion.

c) Kill Zane and Tech Lab. This line of play is the safest and leaves me with a considerable board. Depending on what cards he has in hand he can do considerable damage by maxing Drakk - Desperation might be quite good for him. I will go down to 0 cards though.

Maybe Iā€™m playing too conservatively by going with option c) but I really donā€™t want to lose this game to Gunship or Maximum Anarchy that happens to show up at the right moment.

Letā€™s hope my board is oppressive enough after this turn to eke out a win.[/details]
