Sparkshot helped a lot…

dah! so actually, a couple things. although, i still feel like this is close to over. that was a powerhouse play.

  1. the tower damage is simultaneous with the water elemental, so geiger would not survive the swift strike to actually apply his damage.

  2. Overpower only works when the first thing you attack is a patroller. For example, read the description on Centaur. You would need to have Void star attack a patroller first, then you can overpower the remaining onto my tech 2 or something else it could attack.

either way, you having the void star and now is bad business for me. go ahead and redo the turn and let me know the damage.

Is this really the case? I thought tower damage was simultaneous with the attacker.

One more thing to consider is that Geiger has sparkshot.

Also, Argonaut should’ve taken tower damage last turn, when hitting the Young Treant.

ummm, ive definitely played like this before on the forum. ill have to look around i guess on the rules thread.

i found this. looks like the order goes

  1. swift strike damage
  2. attacker damage + tower damage

so geiger would survive to kill the elemental. bummer, but let’s play on.

Well glad I read the tower correctly, but totally missed overpower. Sorry about that. I’m not in front of a computer but will correct later and re-post. Playing it in my head - should be able to use Geiger and Mox to kill Elemental again, spark one damage to Centaur (thx Dream), Nullcraft kills Centaur and dies, Tinkerer kills Wisp and lives this time, Void star kills Argagarg and Cal, Argonaut and Fading kill Tech2, then Xeno will squad lead with Argonaut in the gold slot and Tinkerer as Technician.

Went back and edited to do exactly what I typed above. I thought the fairest way would be to revert spreadsheet to prior version, put in all changes, etc - since the discards matter, as they are shuffled in. Then just draw again from scratch. So, all that’s done now, and next turn inc. shortly

I think you forgot to drop 2 HP from base when I took out your Tech 2 last turn. Did 16 damage on this turn, so should be 2 to go. And yeah, 20 gold is a lot to spend on one turn
