I will concede again. I donā€™t really know what tools I had to deal with an early hero like that. I guess I just needed to just tech doom grasp on the first cycle

Black has pretty good heroes. You may have done better bringing Vandy or Garth out earlier in both games. Orpal is not such a good early fighter generally, though landing an early -1/-1 rune or two on opponentā€™s Rook discourages them from sinking a lot of $s into levelling up. Nether Drain can also be a good tool once Rook hits maxband, if you can find a way to cast it at the same time as dealing enough damage to kill Rook (down to lvl 6 without two lives).
