Mox would be awkward to use against Black, so I’ll ditch him ASAP. Nullcraft works best as a surprise attacker, and Plasmodium works best when played against an empty board, so I’ll go with Plasm.

You’re doing fine. The spreadsheet doesn’t track heroes since they don’t go into the deck or discard pile (we just have to remember if they’re unavailable to summon because they were killed). The T1 reporting of 2 teched cards is a long-standing glitch, and it’s fine to manually edit it out (even if you don’t, players can see there’s no Tech in your first details tag without opening it). I actually made a simple web page to handle edits for me because I got tired of doing them manually game after game. The forum posts themselves are rather free-form, and you’ll notice that some players have very different styles than the norm, so you don’t need to take it too seriously.

Eww, Rogue… now would be a good time to have that Nullcraft. Heck, I’d even settle for Forgotten Fighter. But, since those aren’t options, I kinda want to avoid playing a hero… especially with Vandy on the board. FArgo’s my only unit option that can take a Rogue attack and survive… I’ll support with Battle Suits and patrol as Technician to recover my hand size rather than patrolling as Elite, for the long-term value since Black can’t remove upgrades. Leading with Stewardesses with the intention of bringing Temporal Distortion into play and follow-up ASAP with Second Chances.

Hnnnggrrh, still no Nullcraft…! And it’s such a perfect time for it, lol! Well, using a Stewardess on the Rogue is still pretty good, just not quite as good. Not really worth attacking the Skeletons, I guess… plus it’s easier to control how black starter spells would affect my units while patrolling. I’ll hold off playing a hero because I’m not certain it’d survive an $8 Vandy turn with only 2 units for protection.

Ooh, Necromancy, nice! I think it’ll be a difficult choice in this matchup, though. If he goes Skeleton Archery (and why wouldn’t he?), Nullcraft won’t be very useful for very long, but it’s very helpful right now, and should serve to protect my beefier units from Sacrifice the Weak. If he does take archery, I’ll just have to worker it when it cycles around. In the meantime, Temporal Research is less efficient than Research & Development, so I’ll let it go.

Aw man, he discarded the card I was planning to worker. I could use Geiger to draw, but I don’t want to risk pulling one of my key cards before I have the prereqs to play it. Guess I’ll just skip.
Ach, I didn’t realize that add-ons didn’t grow back like tech upgrades… Oh well, for next time.

Argh, he got R&D!!! Now I’m in trouble, need to desperate draw here… and, a complete whiff. Guess I gotta rely on Vir. Peek doesn’t help, I’ll call forth the Mech as my only real option for pressure ATM, and the extra stats should help him hold the line.
Bounced skeletons are destroyed, right? Do you have a preference between technician and scavenger? Am I correct in thinking that triggers or is there weirdness like MtG where the token is destroyed in my hand instead of in the patrol?
The consensus is that a unit has to go to the discard pile to trigger dies effects. So, if a token takes lethal damage, it goes to the discard, ceases to exist, and triggers dies effects… but if it’s returned to hand, it disappears from the hand and doesn’t trigger dies effects.
