dude, if tech II building is down, tech lab is useless. Until one has a tech II online and operational (not disabled, destroyed, etc) having a tech lab grants no benefits. Units cannot be played.

yeah i got that :wink: but as i couldn’t attack with IPN, i had only grave and drakk and a total of 7 dmg available. so i decided to destroy his verdant tree with drakk and then had another 4 dmg with grave. i put the 4 dmg to tech 2, which leaves it with 1 hp…

hm… Rook's one tough cookie - don't know how to hide cala from him. and killing him seems not to be an option - it's just too expensive. if he has snapback in hand, max cala will be gone next turn… can't see any satisfying play. with grappling hook and smoker he can always take out a x/1 patroller and lvl 5 rook can ignore the remaining patroller…

As you wish, though I don’t see how I could have killed her if you’d patrolled with 3 units and not with Calamandra.

I’m actually more interested in the Prospector than in Calamandra, but if I go for the Merfolk, I’d expose Rook to being killed instead. So, I think I have to go for the hero kill.

i could have skipped tech 1 to hire two units and still patrol with prospector - true… maybe that and teching calamandra spells would have been the better solution than the gamble with the hook :wink:
