Okay, we got ourselves an easy turn here, Flagbearer takes out squad lead, Sensei helps Rook take out Bigby. I Rambasa and float a gold. So what am I teching up towards? I think this is the turn where I tech in a little more Tech 1 and a utility spell.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Okay, so what's the next-best thing I can do? Don't want Aven around, so let's bird-bomb it. Don't want Mirror Illusion shenanagins, so let's kill the illusion with Rook. This lets us trade Flagbearers. From there, we can play out Sparring Partner and Fox Primus and have 4 gold left over for tech 2. Worker Sensei's Advice, because Grappling Hook is still valuable for killing illusions. Next turn, I can even use Hidden Ninja to get hits on the tech buildings and Earthquake them. Ugh, but this line of play requires me to forego a worker. Can I just forego Primus and instead hope to have enough units to protect my Sensei? Flagrant can potentially put out two fliers (Aven, mirror illusion Aven) so I can block with two fliers. Flagrant otherwise has Quince and a Flagbearer, and Arrest. So if I fill the patrol zone, we're good. I'll gun for Discipline to play YLD, because I think I'll need the base damage to close the game out.

Okay, Liberty Griffin is pretty scary. But I'm definitely Earthquaking this turn. Breaking Tech II/III, dealing 8 damage to the base. I have 3 gold to play with. I could maybe Snapback Quince but I don't think I'm as concerned about Free Speech this turn. Would defang the Illusion, though. In that case, I want to avoid Bigby.

So the great thing here is that I can double tech break like a boss because cascading Earthquakes are fun like that. That's 10 more damage (including tower break), bringing the base down to 2. Actually threatens lethal from Earthquake if Rook still lives. Also threatens Hidden Ninja + Speed of the Fox Setsuki to base.
I’ve done my best to survive one more turn! Let’s see if I’m wrong!

T_T why does Grave's maxband require exhaust? I know, I know, because sword rune out of flippin nowhere would be OP. Otherwise, I'd have the silliest lethal with max Grave (7), Setsuki (9), Grappling Hook the one mirror, sword rune the other mirror, Speed of the Fox (11) for a hasted Setsuki to face. And unfortunately Flagrant spent the spare gold on a tower, so I can't Hidden Ninja her in. If I only had another unit that could attack, I could trigger the detector and then Setsuki smash face. But no. I think I still grappling hook and SotF to kill the mirrors, because they're dangerous. Then I can summon YLD at last, forcing a patrol. Hidden Ninja to cycle?
I had an insane draw off the Lawful Search that enabled me to win this thanks to Quince shenanigans and Liberty Gryphons.

Daggone! GG! What a wild turn. If I’d only gone straight for face instead of breaking your Tech 2 on Turn 4, I would’ve won with that earlier Earthquake! But it was impossible to know, haha.
Absolutely killed me to see that you built a Tower, haha.
I looked through Discipline Tech II and I figured the only kind of haste I had to worry about was from Setsuki who also brings stealth with her so that’s why I built the Tower. It saved my bacon!
