I want to play a bunch of cards, so I’ll sac a skeleton to keep my hand at a reasonable size. My teched cards shouldn’t matter at this point.

On second thought, since the only thing that can slow me down at this point is a Judgment Day, maybe I should play around that. So instead of playing more cards, I’ll tech up and make sure I reshuffle.

Getting rid of Juggernaut should be enough to ensure I keep my tech lab, but I’ll tech a Hero’s Monument anyway, if only for the hero buff.
Now let’s flood and see whether flagrantangles redraws Judgment Day…

I did not. :frowning: You’ve won again!

GG WP!

I’m always excited to see Law tech 2, but it sure is a difficult game plan to pull off… I thought you did a good job stalling, actually. You identified my main win-condition (YLDs) and consistently kept me from executing it.
But I’d teched Training Grounds as a backup in case of Judgment Day, and I don’t think mono-blue has any straightforward answer to strong combat heroes.

I believe it’s your turn to start, if you want to keep going.

You and me both. I always want to see Law work, but it’s hard to get all the pieces rushed together. I feel like I need Elite Training or Boot Camp to really get the mileage out of the Juggernauts. Strong heroes have consistently been my bane when I play Blue, especially if they’re good combat heroes. Vandy and Calamandra basically give me nightmares.

Okay, let’s start with a non-patrolling Aven so that it can’t be murdered by Grappling Hook. I don’t see anything much better. I don’t think Porkhand will be an excellent option here. It deprives me of money and also gives him cards. It’s probably a better P2 option.

Huh, Boot Camp does sound like a good pairing with Juggernauts, I never tried that.

Not the worst moment for Free Speech, all it does is prevent me from popping the Mirror. But anyway, without it flagrantangles should have some trouble handling my Elephant (unless he drew Mind Control…). I’ll play Grave along with it instead of BC to stay up on handsize.

Leaving Hook in the deck to pop illusions.
