Casual: dozenal ([Balance]/Feral/Present) vs Stokes52 ([Necro]/Blood/Growth)

After the game is over you’ll have to go back and look at last turn’s draw (or rather THIS turn’s starting hand) + thoughts. Pretty funny.

I would have loved to get almost any other card from my Technician draw, but alas, I have to make due with my lowly Poisonblade Rogue. Luckily I have a lot of float and Drakk is such a beast hero. I think I have a good split of units in my next hand, with strong T1 and T2 options if he finds a way to break just one of my tech buildings. His only real way of getting Haste is with Now!, so I should be okay.

Well, this is turning into a very entertaining game. Good back and forth!

@Stokes52: I just did my turn but then I realised something. During my last turn, Geiger cast Rampant Growth on the Panda but didn’t pay the extra gold for casting an off-color spell. I spent all my gold last turn, which makes my turn illegal. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to fix it now until I get back on Monday evening :frowning:

Ah yeah, I didn’t catch it either. Bummer too because that was such a great turn haha.

We’re both learning and trying new things here so it happens. We can roll it back if you want, but if its too much trouble I’m also fine with just continuing and you can take one less gold next turn or something. I will let you decide what you want to do and I can follow along.

Ok, so after I got back, I wasn’t able to go back to the old revision or to recreate the exact setup without starting from scratch. I’m going to make my move from where we left off, but the victory is yours regardless of outcome because I would have been in a terrible position without that last board clear. I will post my turn shortly

Thoughts

Playing Predator Tiger and putting it in SQL feels risky. His spells are able to take even very large units off the board, although he played Sacrifice the Weak last turn so that seriously reduces my risk because now the biggest problem would be a big hasty unit and a Doom Grasp, but I haven’t seen any them play any giant units and it’s possible that they teched something smaller like a Shoddy Glider.

Aye, no worries man.
