OK, nothing last turn and the Skeleton draw this turn makes it pretty likely Iā€™m facing two Crashbarrows here, maybe some Gliders too. Two barrows is just about manageable if I put both Basilisks down, Iā€™d lose a tech building but Drakk can frenzy the Birds to take out codexnewbā€™s in return. Fingers crossed. Teching in a Mimic and a Bloodlust should give me decent options for various things I can draw. I donā€™t want Dragons, in case I need the Mimics to block.

Iā€™m not sure whom to stall with here, and that Technician draw doesnā€™t help. I definitely donā€™t want another mirrored Shoddy Glider to take out my Tech II for a pittance. I was thinking of skipping a worker to block with maxband Rook and blocking with a Bird, Rook would probably still die but codexnewbā€™s heroes are maxed out anyway, plus if Iā€™m lucky it makes him expect an Earthquake instead of a hasted Chameleon. Alternatively, I could block with Midori and cast Momentā€™s Peace. That lets me worker, and Iā€™ve got enough left over so Quince and Garth canā€™t kill him in Squad Leader. It lets me attack with both Birds, too. Sounds good, letā€™s knock Garth health down a bit and make it painful to take Midori down without spells. Hope thereā€™s no Free Speech incoming.

Pirate Gang Commander? Uh, OK. That could quickly stop what Iā€™m planning to do. Not sure how to counter that, maybe I just get a Kidnapping or two. I was considering one to clear out the Bone Collector, anyway. Losing the Birds is annoying, but I can just about eke out a Garth kill and a Tech II kill here, hopefully I donā€™t get Commander + Crashbarrow to the face. OK, Midori, takes out the tower, Rampant Growth lets Chameleon and Wandering Mimic take out Techs II and III, then Rook comes in and Thunderclaps the Mirrors away. codexnewb can still make two more Mirrors to copy the Mimic and kill things, but I think this is the best I can do, and it stops any way to hit me with Crashbarrows. Hopefully that will hope to end things before codexnewb runs away on economy.

Do I want Midori or Mimic to take the Tower damage? Quince can make three Mimic copies next turn, if codexnewb does nothing else. One Mimic + Drakk to kill Rook leaves 4+4+1+1=10 possible damage on my stuff, plus 2 from midband Drakk. I think Iā€™m better off leaving the Tower alive this turn, and having someone kill Quince instead. In which case I can skip the Thunderclap in favour of Birds, then if the Mimic gets stolen it just hits a Bird a stolen Mimic can still sneak past but it blocks Gliders. Great. At worst, a Commander comes down and allows a Crashbarrow and a Shoddy Glider, and the latter gets blocked by a Bird. Not enough gold there to fear Commander + Kidnapping.
