Usually we say “swap sides” or “swap positions” here to mean swap P1/P2. People usually don’t swap cards (as they have “custom builds” of three heroes they have a preference for) but in mono-matchup sparring like this we do it sometimes. We’d usually say “swap decks” or “swap colors” for that, but I totally see where the confusion comes from!

Is there a forum opinion on how to deal with end-of-turn draw if you have to redo your turn? Keep the same and knock a few off the end if you discard less? Completely redo?

In a tournament you would use Revision History to return to the previous turn, fix the mistake, then discard and draw a new hand. In a casual game anything is okay if your opponent agrees to it, but the tournament way is always fine if you’re unsure.

General consensus is indeed just re-do; you act as if you have no knowledge of what comes after the error, correct it, and proceed along a new future path that is unknown like usual.

Thoughts

With a Plasmodium coming out this late, I’m assuming he must have some time-rune manipulation in mind. The only other thing I’ve seen come out is Argonaut, so he might be planning to hit really hard in the next two turns, with Geiger coming out from the Hero’s Hall for his spells. Calamandra should be safe to kill heroes hiding in the back, so I’ll tech in her ultimate, and Arg’s big buff spell in case she goes down.

I don’t think I can kill Geiger this turn, sadly, but I can wipe out the patrollers, which should slow him down. EDIT: FrozenStorm pointed out Bears are 5/5 rather than 4/4, which means I can take out Geiger and only lose the Panda. That’s much more comfortable! It does mean Argagarg is only midband, but I don’t need him until Dinosize comes back to my hand.

Say I didn’t notice before, but do note Bears are 5/5, not 4/4. That means the attacking one survived on 1hp, and your patrol is slightly beefier. I imagine no changes needed then?
