I’m not getting free levels here, but I think the kill is still worth it. Then next turn I can make a new mirror and tech up. Going with Ghouls here because Mirrors don’t get their perks, and I can stack more arrival abilities with Graveyard. Hopefully I can max Orpal and start spreading some runes around any Present II units that show up. Geiger will probably screw everything up, but I suppose Dreamfire has to choose between that and Nature Reclaims on the Graveyard.

Have to choose between taking out both Basilisks, or getting rid of the new mirror and runing the Basilisks to 0 attack. Not much of a choice here, but he can threated Forest’s Favor to get the Tiny Basilisk running again.

EDIT: Hmm, I suppose I could’ve killed the cub instead, and gotten a Tax Collector out to block against the Basilisks. I’m already going down on cards, though.

Thoughts

3 attack seems a good number at the moment, so I can bring in a Plague Spitter or a Crypt Crawler. Going with the former, I suspect Midori will be levelling up soon. I’d rather not play Tax Collector here, but I need to get down a blocker and Deteriorate the Prospector to prevent Rampant Growth from allowing a Grave kill.

Thoughts

Going to try Gorgon again, since I’m not dealing with Mirrors.

Drawing Deteriorate or Reversal would be nice to get Argonaut out of the way if I’m delaying Tech II, let’s see what happens… cool, got it. That Tiny Basilisk in Dreamfire’s hand will be a problem, but unless the Young Treant reveals Now! there’s no way for it to attack next turn.

Options, with 5 gold to spend:

  • Deteriorate (1) and Haunt on the Argonaut, kill with Grave. Max Grave (4) and throw sword at Midori, or StW (3) on Playful Panda.
  • Deteriorate (2) and Haunt on Playful Panda, StW (3) on Argonaut, Grave kills Midori.
    Second option seems pretty good, and leaves maxband heal and sword available for next turn.

… Wow, no Tech II units in hand. I can tech up next turn with no slowdown.
