Thoughts
I don’t know about this opening(or any blue opening for that matter). Going with bigby over onimaru is notably weaker offense right now, but bigby is a lot easier to midband for heals. Also allows for a judgement day rush maybe. Considering a heroes hall strat with boot camp boosted bigby.
Spells are too expensive for what they would give me I think. I’d prefer hero + unit, and this is the one combination of unit and patrol that keeps my hero safe from arrest/manufactured truth. Unless he maxbands Bigby which seems not worthwhile. Next turn I could Bloom Geiger and set up a very robust attacker with healing backup.

I played bigby to get away from “always oni first” but It seems I’ll need a more concrete plan then that. I can’t actually kill anything which gives him the first swing. There are too many ways for him to bust down my board If I go for a impotent damage threat with spectral aven, so I’m going even more defensive despite being player 1.

There are just too many ways he could possibly kill bigby no matter what I do. I had mistakenly thought injunction was only 2 gold for some reason, which would have allowed me to do this play AND heal bigby. As is, bigby is likely dead so I might as well use the injunction now.
I wonder if peace engine is fast enough or if I should go truth. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
I’ve reached that point in codex where everything seems like a bad idea.

Damn it, another bloom! Twer naught for that, poor bigby could have lived! Still no answer for geiger, but I do have my tech up and he probably has to take a slow turn to tech up himself. Or at least that would be the case if he hadn’t floated 3 gold. 4 hp in sql and no more spells means he shouldn’t be able to bust my tech II.
