I’m not exactly sure what they’re going for. Really early moment’s peace for dragon beat down? It’s possible, so I’m building an early tower and grabbing a taxman to control the skies. I can also clap back with Zane if moment’s peace becomes troublesome.
Furthermore, I am solidly ahead in the tech race and could tech up next turn if I don’t have much else to do. I see no need to attack here; my position is superior, so I will use defensive bonuses.

Ok, just a max midori. I’m expecting Iron Men, possibly two, and moment’s peace. I guess they could have final showdown…? Perhaps they will try to base race me.
I could’ve cleared their patrol, but it would’ve left me 1 gold short of teching up and allowed them to get the tech advantage. I would’ve had good board pressure though, so eh maybe. But they simply had to drop an iron man to stop me in my tracks. So best to get a grounded guide to turn my fencers into real threats.

As I suspected, iron man. A nice redraw of discord nets me a nice kill, and I’ve set up my strong anti-air. Probably should’ve teched that sooner though. I’m a little concerned about bloom on midori, that would be quite frustrating, as they could set up repeated tech 2 breaks. Still, Zane is always an option.
