I wonder if assimilate will be any good. I might want to tech it next turn just as a defensive measure. If nothing else, it can try to counter his use of it. I cant afford to put it in the very first round, hopefully he had the same idea. I have to get to tech 2 first, and even then, Present is going to be a beast to deal with.

peek was time spiral but didn’t really care, already have perfect hand, my luck seems to be continuing this game. Vir was mostly to make him want to tech assimilate/not commit to a battlesuits plan in the end, but perhaps an unphase to sneak a hero kill in the coming turns could work. wont havr enough gold to stewie and tech up next turn sadly, so not going to tech in tech 2
Argonaut, interesting… Well, I can make mine trade unless he has Assimilate. If he does, hes not teching up, so thats pretty good for me. Not to mention Brave Knight comes back to hand if he wants to swing.

hmmmmmm Future, so Present doesnt do that great against future for obvious lack of flyers, gotta assume worst case they get void star or hive out next turn, either way Undo is kinda a good tech but at the same time I committed last turn to Max spells and want some tech 2 units. Past doesnt trade all that well with Future stuff unless your shimmer ray is in elite then it’s incredible value. Void stars favour the aggressive with their overpower, maybe i stack the odds on void star and Now! by teching two and patrolling Vir in Technician (if they dont kill Vir still good) plus generally good direction, i have NC as a one time blocker. it’s just hive im scared of… a counter hive could work defensively? Let’s mix and match

Ugh, Future v future face off, and me without Now!, this could be bad. Lots of worst case scenarios, but a now void star seems the worst. Undo would also be bad, but doesnt leave him a lot of room to capitalize on it with the meager things he has on board. Assimilate similarly is a non starter from this position, beyond getting the kill on my cadet without trading.

tech draw was hive, which is kinda sad with no tech 2, might try for keeping my tech 2 up with Prynn shenanigans and Vir swapping Hive depending on what i peek
peek was rewind, which is an intersting dilemna as it’s obvsiouly more usefull next turn but don’t want to be completely dead before i get to use it… the thing is Void star and xeno could leave me on 6hp next turn, 4 with elite training in the mix… so not banishing something this turn isn’t an option.
if i’m banishing using Prynn, she’s left vulnerable to: unphase, but that’s a weird tech when u have a xenostalker; 2 of: elite training or nullcraft; second doomgrasp, quite a possibility really. Regardless of previous sentence i can’t afford not to banish star so oh well, mmm what about choice of lookout or…
if she dies i need the hive i currently in my hand for next turn or i can’t stop the void star, hive and void star cost 11 so she goes in scav in case they kill her
