@charnel_mouse there are no observable changes for you other than how many cards I discard at the end of my turn. Because of this I have just edited the turn above; I tried to make all the hidden changes clear to spectators.
Righto. Should you have discard 2, draw 4, then?
My turn stays the same, Iāll redraw later.
Cool, here is my turn then.
Nope: start on 5 cards, discard to 4, play two card-neutral cards (hyperion which attacked and temporal distortion), worker to 3.
Also see: before edit I discarded 4

Thoughts
i could go for a tech break, perhaps tech 1 actually to avoid haste, but getting the chronofixer to stick may be a better plan - plus it allows me to patrol heroes and not feel so bad if they die
patrolling prynn front for sharks, plus temporal distortion in next hand if max survives
Ah, right, I forgot Temporal Distortion bounces.

Thoughts
The technician draw lets me take out the Chronofixer if I want to, but I think Iām better off building up a board.
Do I want to take Surprise Attack, and get knock out those heroes, or get down Thieving Imp + Gargoyle, or go for Tech III? I can delay the latter for a turn to see what happens. Gargoyle would be nice, but I have a Sprite already. Letās get rid of those heroes before dwarddd plays another Temporal Distortion, or Prynn starts banishing things.

Thoughts
Chronofixer gone to keep void star alive, fair trade as long as void star survives (would fall to 2step, shadow blade), i think Iām safe from 2step, shadow blade means itās at least an economy neutral trade
You probably should be listing your tech lab that you built on turn 3
Damn, youāre right, i managed to set the spec correctly in my spreadsheet but forgot the hp so it never appeared here. Very sorry charnel if you hadnt noticed! If this affected your tech choices thatās a pretty bad mistake from me.
Also *turn 4, but thatās not so important
No worries, I saw it at the time.

Thoughts
What Iād give for Two Step or a maxband Zane hereā¦ Lizards are helping to slow dwarddd down, but I donāt have an easy win condition here. Iād like to go for Tech III ā probably for Gunships over Zarramonde, given the presence of Void Stars ā but that takes 6 gold, so Iām be defending with a single Lizard, a Sprite, and a Starlet, or Vandy, a Lizard, and two Sprites. One Sprite will probably get trashed or gunned down by a Tricycloid, so the Void Star can probably destroy a building. A charged Void Star and an Omegacron is enough to immediately kill me before accounting for other attackers and patrollers, so Iām running a huge risk if I keep a light patrol. I donāt see myself winning this with Lizards + Sprites, though, even with Grounded Guides or Blademasters for support. Lizards and Sprites donāt have enough attack to make swift strike useful without help. Iād need a Guide, too. Or a tower while I delay for something else, but then Iād be locked out of my game-winning Tech III units.
My other option is to play Dark Pact and get a ton of patrollers down. Thatās safer, and I can then go for Two Step, maybe Chaos Mirror, maybe Metamorphosis. It lets me get the Graveyard down, too. That Void Star is probably taking out my Tech II then, though, so I might just fall apart next turn. Iāll take the Tech III and cross my fingers.

Was puzzling for a bit about how to optimise clearing his board and getting tech buildings until i realised i had a couple ways to destroy his base
GG and WP! That was a fun game, donāt have the energy for analysis rn but will look back in the morning, what i will say is i k my draws lined up pretty nicely, havent looked at urs yet
Geez. Thought I was about to get blown up either way, but I was hoping for another turn first. Well played, dwarddd, I was on the back foot the whole way through there.
