Too much think

Well snapback is useless again. Still not gonna worker it, itā€™ll come in handy one day. Fortunate to have my beefy tech 2s, just hope I can keep laying em down and I donā€™t get my tech buildings totally blown out. His options should be pretty limited this turn, since his crashbarrows are either in his hand or his deck. Still, he can play it and then just resurrect it immediately so ehhh
This is a weird and tough game that I donā€™t know how to win

You have an extra gold from the Scavenger bonus, does that change anything?

Uhhhh yeah I wanna summon River
One day Iā€™ll remember my gold

And also patrol her in elite

Iā€™m not looking at my hand right now and I donā€™t remember whatā€™s in it but if you want me to redraw I will

You should redraw pretty much for any infranvtion or change. So go ahead and redraw on this one.

Oof, that means I canā€™t clear your patrol again, maybe I should accept defeat now

Thoughts

Right, so I can play Garth + Crashbarrow, latter kills Lizard, Bone Collector (and Skeleton) kills a hero, maxband Garth for another Crashbarrow that kills the Guide and whittles down the other hero a bit. Which one should I keep alive? Grave is nastier in combat, can repair Bomberā€™s base, and swordswipe Garth, but heā€™s already used one Versatile Style, and Riverā€™s spells will be really nasty if they come out: Discord clears my units, Two Step just hits really hard. Plus killing Grave puts him at 4 cards, so a high chance of having two units. On the other hand, killing River doesnā€™t require a Skeleton to add damage, so Iā€™d have more blockers. On the other other hand, Grave can kill Garth far more easily due to his rune, whereas River needs to be given a rune this turn, either giving up Partnerā€™s attack or paying 2 gold for the privilege, plus be maxbanded. Alternatively, she midbands to sideline Skeleton, then Partner plus Fencer from hand kill Garth, if heā€™s got one. Letā€™s go with killing River and putting Garth in backline, hopefully itā€™ll force Bomber to use Graveā€™s sword on him.

don't want to come up with more words

Weeelll my base is still on 8 health, so maybe I just lose, but Iā€™m getting huge value out of lizards here and Iā€™ve got tech 3 so maaaybe I get to stick a blademaster and win? We can only hope

Are you teching cards there?

Bloodlust
Captured Bugblatter
Pestering Haunt

Technician draw: 1

Captured Bugblatter

Thoughts

Unfortunately Iā€™m drawing both Bugblatters while I have little to put in front of them, let alone anything that triggers their ability. Best I can do is Bloodlust on Pestering Haunt + Sparring Partner and have them trade, which is really dumb. Itā€™s enough to make clearing my patrol a loss for Bomber, though, so maybe itā€™s enough.

Oh yeah my bad, I teched 2
I use that as my placeholder and forgot to change it
Let me know if that changes your turn at all

Nah, I figured youā€™d be putting in Blademasters.

Yeah I didnā€™t draw versatile style so I lose. Sad.

@zhavier

Yeah, came down to that or Snapback, I got saved by the stupidest Pestering Haunt play Iā€™ve ever seen. Well played, friend.

Well played indeed. Guess I shouldā€™ve gone strength.

Maybe. Iā€™d have struggled more to break through, but youā€™d have cleared the Skeletons / Garth less often without haste, so I could have recovered my hand size much more easily, which was a real problem for me for half of that game.
