Discord is pretty likely early. Birds are a little risky with discord, but charged bird could be effective. Maxband Rook is a decent play maybe, though Wither is an obvious response. I could do something off key, like mythmaking and ardra’s boulder and Galina. Big and Cheap, force him into versatile style early while I go for Blooming Ancients. Eh, just stick to basic plan for the moment, without heroes hall I have some room to play without worry of discord.

Well, that was easy, no discord this turn. I could break his tech 2, but he only drew 1 after the reshuffle, 2 if i kill river… I could either max Rook or build my tech 2. If I max Rook, I can also break his tech 2 with Mad Man, but I don’t want to go down on cards so quickly. Safer to build and get down my Ancient quickly.

Ugh, Fencers, ah well. Still have a decent play with the birds, and now it will be much harder for him to remove the birds. I could Lose zane here if he redrew a nimble fencer (low chances), but its not that great a risk, and losing the chance for surprise attack isn’t the worst thing.

Well, when you invested in grave instead of HH, I knew it was safe to play the birds for at least a turn, then river came out without discord, so it was safe for even longer. If you had discord, you would have risked drawing it and not being able to play it, after investing bloom in Grave, it would be super risky to think you could suicide. If you had gone for HH instead of bloom, bird’s would have been a much harder play.
