I knew Free Speech was coming at some point, and I thought the tree might come back (though hoped it had been workered). Well, not much I can do but tech up. I have to waste a bunch of my board, and Zane, to take out his Tree. If I don’t, he can go straight to Gryphons next turn. Since Zane is going to die in this attack no matter what, I’m EDIT: NOT going to get a card out of it so that I have a better chance of getting a good card next turn (3 wild cards instead of just 2: right now my deck is Plexus, Argo, sharks). DAMN FREE SPEECH. [/details]

Calypso, Tricycloid, Argonaut, and Plexus are available to me. Not as good as Hyperion, probably, but we’ll see.
Sorry, I should have noted it. On T5, you’ll see I had 0 in deck at the end of turn. So when we both drew from Zane taking Geiger on my T6, it triggered a reshuffle. I’ll edit to note it for future spectators, though @EricF can verify that my thoughts for that turn noted that I traded Nullcraft for Prospector first specifically so I had a chance of drawing it again when Zane took Geiger.
Apologies for not making it obvious, and I hope it didn’t affect your plays.

Really wish I’d drawn Hyperion instead of Tricycloid, but this isn’t too bad. I’m not hopeful about my chances here, since he has $7 after building Tech III, but let’s see how it plays out. [/details]

Another Tricycloid. Well, if he unit spams, I can pop a lot of illusions, especially with max Geiger (praying he didn’t draw another Free Speech, but it seems unlikely given his thin deck and that he still has Treant). I also have Rook + Entangling Vines as an alternative if another Centaur pops out with no Free Speech, and Nullcraft. If I spend all my time runes and Nullcraft I can break Tech III, so there’s that.
I believe someone was looking for a back and forth games with lots of swingy exciting stuff right? This looks like one (even if I have made more mistakes than swiss cheese has holes). P2T8

[details=Thoughts][spoiler] sigh Without Free Speech, I could have done the same stuff, plus maybe skipped worker to Time Spiral for an extra rune of damage, and flickered for 3 more, which would have been enough to kill Quince and hit a building.
Oh, right. Quince’s midband is going to have me eat a face full of Trycloid Runes, to at least kill Geiger and one of my Tryc’s huh?

Lots of options with Surprise Attack, CM, double Hyperion, Calypso, and Zane. Again, I have to hope for no Free Speech, otherwise it’s just 2x Hyperion and attacking with both Tryc’s and Geiger.
[details=Thoughts][spoiler]
Ug. Double Hyperions it is. If I break Tech III, he’ll just play the same hand again, and I’ll have less board to work with.
If I kill Macciatus, he’ll play Gryphon(s) and Retellers, likely breaking my Techs and still putting up a defense.
If I break Tech II, he plays Gryphons, but at least can’t play Retellers. Yuck. I’ll do #3 and release my sweet demise.
Wait… I could build Tech III… but not Tech Lab. His Gryphon will just break it, though. And I don’t have much to do from there. Here goes nothing.

Nullcraft is good. Sharks are good. TD is unfortunate. Fargo is okay. Well. Maybe I’ll get really lucky and both of his Gryphons are still in his deck after drawing from Technician.

Wow! Yar, great game! I should have maybe played and patrolled Nullcraft, but if I did, I could have popped your Tech II with all 4 runes, but couldn’t have wiped you board as nicely. I had to hope you didn’t have them in hand.
Ironically, if you’d have had one more illusion out, the Gryphons would be untargetable and Geiger wouldn’t have been able to flicker one.
I thought about killing Macciatus, but the Gryphons still would have come out. I thought about breaking Tech III, but then you just would have replayed the same turn, and I’d have less board. Macciatus+double Reteller is rough.
I guess it was good I had played Calypso the turn before. Wasn’t enough to take the match for me, but it did let me break both Tech buildings.
By the way, big kudos, @Shadow_Night_Black for sticking it out after both buildings went down and relying on the huge econ advantage I had left you, not to mention solid hero, spell, and tech play. You went all-in on a VTree rush to Tech II and Tech III, and the whole plan got de-railed, and you still managed to pull it out. Nicely-nicely done.
Why does everyone talk about Ready or Not and Elephants? Given it’s already attacked twice, the third attack seem much less useful, surely that on a gigadon etc would be much more effective?
You mention quince midband using tricycloids in your thoughts. While quince can make a mirror copy a tricycloid, the mirror would not get any time runes, and so the tricycloid is a very good option for dealing with mirrors on many levels.
