I can bring it out this turn but I can’t wipe his mirrors, which is scary. I could go all in, skip a worker, and get Quince I think. But then I’m putting myself at a ridiculous gold disadvantage. What’s that look like…Hero + TS + FF + NC? Basically down 1 card and a lot of gold.
Next turn I get a Stewardess. It pains me, but it has to be smarter to do stuff then, I think. Buy time this turn.
I’d like to put a hero out. Obviously I’d generally prefer to release Vir once he’s going to cast one of his spells, in case he dies. There’s a good chance he has Manufactured Truth again this turn, which means the Building Inspector can turn into a hound or Knight, and with Quince they kill a SQL hero. But then he loses the Inspector, and maybe he doesn’t fear Vir so much? Plus he’d love to have the BInsp cost me another buck. But I’m going to bet he goes for the kill. So Geiger. But maybe not tech Unphase this turn as originally planned.
Instead, as I’m messing with runes this game, I’m going to want to try and get stuff out as soon as I possibly can. Teching in a Reaver this turn hoping for the 50% shot that it’ll come to hand the turn after my expected / hopeful Tech 2. Also putting in a Seer to increase the # of things I have floating around that’ll take runes off.

Actually I’m pretty sure this is not true. There was a discussion in the rules thread regarding manufactured truth and Argonaut. According to @sharpobject when manufactured truth wears off, patrol bonuses would be active.
@EricF due to me hitting “CTRL-Z” once too many times on my spreadsheet, my End-of-T4 hand has a card declared that I never teched. Instead it is supposed to be the card I teched on T3 that I haven’t drawn yet (I drew through my deck on T4 so it should be there now). I want to fix my hand to be what it’s supposed to be based on what I teched, but wanted to run it by you first. My T3 thoughts are also in alignment with what I’m supposed to have right now.

My tech choices have largely blunted the Community Service threat, but Injunction is still painful. My play this turn certainly involves a Reaver + a Seer. I could blink the Seer and finish off the Reaver this turn. That leaves me doubly vulnerable to Injunction on his turn, though. Or I just Seer the Reaver once…
Nullcraft needs to kill off his near-death Hound, that seems obvious. I could blink the NC instead of the Seer and kill the SQL hound. That means his weak one probably dies next turn.
But he’s threatening Tech 3 soon enough. If he’s rushing there, and if I’m able to keep the Reaver functioning next turn, I’ll have the option to bring down his worker count.
He could always Judgement Day, but I don’t see why he’d be pushing for that given our boards. Of course, it’s an option he has. At a certain point, though, you just have to assume that Bigby is going to do some stuff if you can’t kill him.
