MoLaC vs Assimilate is a bit of a special case. Yeah, it’s a guessing game, but if you guess wrong you get 10/10 Hyperions to the face. And we’re still talking tournaments, right? The opponent doesn’t know just how inexperienced the Future player is.
(If you can win the turn you drop MoLac no counters help, except for your opponent not letting you build the board you need for that)
