Hey, I drew a Ferocity! Also, I forgot I had $2 leftover. I probably would have spent that on a unit if I’d remembered. Good thing I didn’t! I drew one of my Ferocities, and I should be able to summon a Spectral Tiger, Predator Tiger, Stalking Tiger, or pair of Twins, and give them Armor Piercing and Swift Strike.
I really want the Spectral, 'cause a 5/5 on Turn 3 is crazy. But I think he can just Forgotten Fighter it away? Even though it doesn’t meet the requirements to be hit, I think it can still be targetted. Besides, getting Predator to hit base and trash workers the next turn seems crazy, if I can make it happen.

[details=Thoughts] Good 'ol Agressive Pirate. Uh, yeah I’m not sure what my plan is. Tinkerer is obviously a ‘bad card’, but he didn’t kill it so it’s doing some work for me. I really want to kill the prospector before his econ gets out of control, but that will have to wait til next turn. No Tech I to maximize chances of Origin Story draw and let me play more cards.

Well, this is an interesting game. I ended up teching in Sentry x2 this turn because I really want cheap units. I ended up discarding Battle Suites, even though I played Mox (!) because I think having access to a 2-cost unit will be more important for me later. They also block YLD well. I don’t expect to use their alternate damage-mitigation ability, but wasn’t prepared to go for Argonauts because ideally I get tech II next turn.

I’m moving solidly into Past Tech II. His board is fearsome, but I don’t think Cal’s Ultimate spell is a danger which mitigates a lot of what he can do. The worst I’m looking at it either Murkwood Allies or Ferocity for great trades, neither of which really concern me as I tech up.
I assume Plasmo killed Tiger Cub?

Let’s go crazy!
If I was going to dump my hand, I probably should have just stealthed Cal again to kill the Sentry, then had Tiger hit through, and patrolled. But I’m happier with my final board this way.

I think your panda lived! Mox was elite, but not in a battle suit.
Thoughts
Well this turn is a real humdinger. I’ve got a lot of interesting things to do with 3 gold:
-
Build a Tower - chips away at his possibly ferocious fighters, prevents Cal stealth shenanigans, good preventative against Murkwood Allies
-
Summon Yesterday’s Golgort - 6/4 is big and should take something down, but is really weak to pump spells or ferocity. Also trashes Hardened Mox (who also hasn’t been that great).
-
Origin Story - this one requires Prynn, temporarily gets rid of Cal and makes him re-level her, takes a 4-power attacker off the field.
I decided 1+3 are the most important. This severely weakens his board prescence, taxes him for replaying Cal, and sets me up with a stronger base.

So the downside of Tower/Origin Story is my own board is pretty anemic. Well, let’s see how it goes!
Playful Panda is 2/2, so Elite Mox is enough to kill it. I should have traded Panda with Sentry and had Rampant Wisp take out Mox (surviving). If you’re okay with it, we’ll say I did that instead, and I’ll have a 0/1 on the back line during your last turn.
Also: I realized I got this game confused with my other one, and teched a few things that aren’t in my codex. With your permission, I’m going to switch them out with something as close as possible.

That’s all OK, of course. I didn’t realize Mox was a 1/1 and not an 0/1 this whole game! Haha, been a while since I’ve played Codex and of course there is a nearly-identical card in Magic that costs 3 for a 0/1 indestructible. I don’t think I had many great attacks anyway…

LOL. I just realized that I made some major tech blunders when I teched those cards that aren’t in my codex. In replacing them with an equivalent, I failed to notice that I had not teched a card that I thought I had teched. You have won this, but now it’s an exercise in how long Tech 0 can survive against Tech III.

I thought I had a 2nd copy of TPoS! And I thought I had a good chance of drawing it! And I would have, if I hadn’t teched 2x Ember Sparks, which I converted to Eyes of the Chancellor (essentially placeholder 3-cost)! If I had made one of those TPoS, I would have had a chance!
[/details]
Wow, I suck at patrolling. Shoulda put Shimmer Ray in SL after all, though I guess it would have just changed the order of when you used Grave’s max-band. It was your choice to make the game tech 0 vs tech III, but it’s been an interesting game!

[details=Thoughts]
I wanted to Treant -> draw Centaur -> play Centaur and get a mirror copy. But I only had a 25% chance of drawing Centaur. And since mirror Centaur is an illusion, I couldn’t FF or RG it anyway. This is better.
