Spore Shambler & Ironbark Treant are both too pricy for a T1 play, so Merfolk Prospector it is. Summoning Argagarg gives a wisp to protect against Sacrifice the Weak. Rampant Growth and Spore Shambler have utility later on, so it’s between Ironbark Treant and Rich Earth to worker. I can’t really see myself having enough breathing space to get Rich Earth out, and another tough blocker can’t hurt.

Gah, unlucky draw from YT means that I don’t get any Galina value for at least another turn. I was hoping to get some Verdant Tree + Galina shenanigans, but just 1g short. If only I’d played Rich Earth…
Tech-wise, I’m still not really sure what I should be doing with Green. With any luck I should be able to Rampant Growth something (maybe with a midband Arg?) to kill Jandra and wipe some units, but that’s probably not so likely to be played into. I’ll just continue spamming tokens until either I win or lose

I’m only a beginner, so excuse me if I’m wrong - but I thought the rule was only that you couldn’t reshuffle twice in your main phase. I assume that you can always reshuffle in your draw phase if you need to, no matter if you’ve already done so in the main phase. [Apart from anything else, what happens in this case if you have an empty deck? Surely the intent can’t be that you draw no cards at all?]

(If I am wrong, apologies for butting in - but at least then I’ll have had my understanding of the rules corrected :smiley: )

Oh interesting! I read the rule of “You may only shuffle once per main phase” as translating “once per turn” (ie, each main phase gives you one reshuffle you may use during it or the subsequent draw phase, and if you use it during the main phase that’s tough). But now you mention it and I look at the rules again, I think you’re right; it’s only during the main phase that there’s a restriction on reshuffling to prevent infinite deck shenanigans. I’ll update the post to reflect reshuffling and drawing an extra card.

I’m not sure if not teching any T2 units was a mistake, but I feel like Huntress is good value at 3/3 for 2, with hopefully some sparkshot synergy to pick off some skeletons later on. Polymorph should help me get rid of anything big and scary if necessary. Otherwise I’m just going to keep on trying to grow my board. As far as I can tell, the only board clear I super have to worry about is Maximum Anarchy, and that’s pretty well signposted. Doom Grasp might be annoying, so I’ll try to stick to a plan of buffing up little guys rather than pinning it all on one thing. I guess I should probably try and get Blooming Ancient/Elm up and running before too long, so that’s probably in my next techs. Maybe a Might of Leaf and Claw too?
