If I were him I would have patrolled that Rogue in Technician. I’m teching to either rush tech 2 or make a big counter play, since I have inside track on board I think one of the two will be a great move depending on what he comes out with. Tower will dissuade Garth from entering the fray and help give me favorable trades. I’m mostly expecting BC from him if he draws it, in which case I think I can probably reversal towards a big play.
Smoker in lookout as the only way I’m losing it is Stw (bad trade for him), Deteriorate (bad trade if it’s in lookout), or both at the same time (not an awful trade for him, but not much I can do about that besides invest levels in Grave, I’d rather have the tower)

Wow, this is a gutsy turn for me… I am loading up the discard with tech 2 stuff (anticipating building it next turn), and I am going for an all-out rush at him. And I’m doing the unthinkable thing as White, and workering Snapback (?!?)
Here is my thought process, though:
- Not going for birds, DeGrey is one of my best tech 2 cards against black
- Doubling Barb is a good companion tech, given I’ve established Strength as my tech 2 plan
- Sensei’s Advice is just too good to pass up if I’m taking Doubling Barb
- Reversal + Sword rune + unit superiority is likely to provide me as much hero-eliminating power as Snapback would
- I haven’t tried workering snapback in a long time, and I want to see how bad it hurts late-game against Black. I’d really only ever use it against Vandy anyway, right?
Next turn I probably worker, tech 2, and max out Grave to eliminate whatever threats arise? I expect he will Deteriorate Monk if he draws it, and hey 50/50 he doesn’t have it right? I feel like every time I tell myself that, they ALWAYS have it
