Interesting he goes for Sets, I think that’s not a great pick as P2 and I can punish it. Teching in low cost stuff and giving myself hero’s hall as an option to build up steam, Technician to ensure I draw what I’m looking for. I also will have the option to midband rook for a kill if I’d like, though snapback should make me very hesitant to do that, and I’ll probably be better off building up board first. I can max out Rook if I think I can get to Mind Parry Monk the very next turn, otherwise it probably isn’t a good investment.

I’m grabbing command of the board here, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Hidden Ninja get him a kill on Rook but at this point that isn’t the worst trade for me, I can deal with Setsuki without Rook now that birds are down. Next turn we’ll either use Twins for pressure or make a birds play and tech up.

Well look at me, I was about to take my turn until I realized you misplayed slightly: You can’t build your tech 2 without at least 8 workers. So I think you’re going to come up short on IPN + Tech 2.

I already drew the technician card, but I can put it back in the deck if you decide not to kill Sparring Partner, just let me know once you’re done editing (and I believe you’ll need to re-draw your next turn hand, @EricF can you confirm there?)

Yes, you should both return the excess cards and re-draw at the appropriate points in the turn.

so sorry!
I´ll redo my turn

its ok if i just build a tower instead? and we leave evertything as it is and I have a gold?

We still both have to re-draw (you your next turn hand, me my technician), but otherwise yea

ok,lets do that

@cinder anytime a turn is posted that includes an error, we correct it as follows:

  1. All card draws are reversed
  2. The turn is re-played from the beginning. Any number of different chouces can be made, including things not directly related to the error.

This is to avoid having the content of new draws influence the correction.

Bummer I didn’t draw Reversal here, but oh well, get Sets out of here for a bit and continue dominating the board. Can’t let Rook be too attractive as a Snapback threat so we’ll give levels to Grave, gives him Flexibility to sword stuff, and scavenger Sensei so we can go Tech 2 + 4 gold to spend on Twins / Grave Max / Reversal + Advice maybe

Not sure why he’s floating 4 gold and not building a tech building… Or at least Midband Grave and patrol him. This was a little too easy to exploit, I now have overwhelming board presence and he’ll be very hard pressed to stop me from rolling him as soon as next turn. I mean he can’t just maxband Rook next turn, I’ll snap him back. I considered skipping worker to kill his tech 1 building here, but I’d rather not go down a card and skip worker to do that, I’m good with just ransacking things in a steady rhythm
