So SQL is empty? I’m not sure if you need to redraw your hand if you just drew 1 too few. I think you’re drawing the rest of your deck anyway, so I guess it doesn’t matter if you redraw your hand in this case.
ETA: If you want to reorganise your patrol now you have SQL free, it’s absolutely fine

My skeleton kills your Garth, taking no damage, my Garth to L3
Midband Garth - ($3)
sac skeleton to Garth’s midband to draw
Pestering Haunt - ($3)

Garth deals 2 damage to your Tech II
I think your biggest error was probably building Tech II instead of playing Bone Collector on T4. You gave up too much board control, and it was clear from my board that I could clear away 3 1/1s using maxband Orpal. Especially given that you teched a lot of Necro spells, its very risky to leave Garth unprotected.
How did you feel things didn’t line up? I had a couple of lucky breaks, getting Deteriorate from my tech draw on T3 was great as 2-3 Skeletons upgraded with Skeletal Archery is actually really scary. Normally I’d build a Tower to counter Archery, but here I already had a HH. I consistently under-rate Archery, so it was good to see it doing work this game.
@ericF, @FrozenStorm, any comments (on either of our plays - I’m sure I’m making lots of mistakes also)?
I think Vandy might have been a better p1t2 hero to answer a heroes hall for PointyFinger
I think archery was a good call given you didn’t take Vandy though
I would definitely have opted for a BC and heroes hall p1t4, as Jadiel said it leaves you too vulnerable to Orpal
I like to first tech dark pact as black, since you can usually build unstoppable card advantage on turn 3/4 from it, and it is s-tier to have in the deck all game, but double BC is nothing to sneeze at either, especially if you can draw and play both
Yeah, after correcting the mistake when I posted the BC turn, I think somewhere in my head I thought I could get the BC and the tech II and then ended up posting the much worse line. I think that was the most obvious mistake.
The play I wanted was Vandy + a Shadow Blade or Dark Pact (and then the other the following turn) and think that was a stronger hero choice. Garth choice was definitely in part wanting to try a Skeleton strategy and knowing I would have archery in the next hand.
I did not like the Lich’s Bargain tech, I think I should have gotten in a premium removal instead.
