Thoughts On Gameplan
Iām going for a standard Midori rush, so I played two units without abilities ! I didnāt worker the flagbearer in case heās going for Doom Grasp. Thieving Imp makes me think heās more going to a gameplan with Plague Spitter and/or Sickness, maybe followed by Tech II Sickness ? Mono-Black have problems to deal with upgrades, so MoL&C can be ok. Iād prefer to go to Tech II Bashing because Hired Stompers can OS Plague Spitters and Crows, and I love Ducks. Ducks can hit tech buildings (so sad, Brick Thief is on workerā¦), Plague Lab, Baseā¦ And Add-Ons ! Surprise break of Tech Lab just before Zarramonde arrives looks so tempting
I teched two Gemscout Owls because I really need money to midband Midori. Iām low on cards, Midoriās maxband may help. Anyway, money can buy Surplus. And Momentās Peace spellcaster loves Surplus <3

He still can neutralize my Midori with some cards, but Owl protecting my units from StW, Flag from Shadow Blade and Tenderfoot from the Overpower of Baronā¦ Yeah thatās nice ! When I have the board advantage, Growth is generally a good idea
For future reference - you should have re-done your draw here. We always re-draw after changing a turn, even if it looks like it wouldnāt matter, for two reasons:
