Hey, I’m completely new, and I heard I might be able to get matches here? I can kind of regularly beat Yomibot; IDK how important that is.

Just say that you want to sign up and tell what time you’d be available. Consistently beating the Yomibot isn’t a huge deal, but it counts for something.

I wouldn’t worry about tournaments, hardly any of them have prizes other than bragging rights so they are just a chance to get some play in since the QM queue is pretty much dead. Just view them as a time to get some games in.

It’s not nearly as scary as it seems. It’s basically the same as playing people in normal online except they are trying a little bit harder.

That, and I frequently run tournaments with various character selection limits. But, yeah, all bragging rights these days (until the next 19XX, I suppose)

What’s on the line for 19XX?
I love tournaments, whether for Yomi or some other game I like. The only reason I don’t participate in more is that very few tournaments go on where I live and I don’t the time or money to crisscross the country.
IIRC, $20 cold hard Canadian gift cert money, or a video of @mysticjuicer fanning himself with the same while eating an ice cream sandwich in the middle of winter (if he won).

Some J spamming on grave side, but oversized bull took great lifelead: storm approached and even it. Dragonheart and spark arc closed it
A dodgy grave (I drew all my dodges in first half deck) get rid of the fish
YOU! but not fueled. BC hit a poor hand to get rid of, and next turn, after PU for A, my deck started delivering goodies (A, A) to close it
