Thoughts
firstly this matchup was tilted my way from the start, you have no practical way to pop illusions on my backline and as P1 i could stay aggressive enough to avoid patrolling them (where they could be grapple hooked, vystaried and Zaned)
T1 - hiring Setsuki does let you cast white starter spells without penalty, but it meant i didn’t have to fear Zane charging in and lets me be more aggressive without needing to patrol so much, tough choice
T2 - with my offensive start with Aven it’s unlikely you’ll be doing much attacking for a while so Safe Attacking might not see much use; considering you ended up low on cards in this game consider a tower here instead of a second card? also will limit my aven to 2 more attacks
T3 - Calypso Vystari again is better when you’re doing the attacking, a beefier tech 1 may have stalled me more, when you saw you were floating 1g on turn 2 a Gilded Glaxx wouldn’t have even stopped you building tech 2
also T3, considering you’re low on cards, if the technician draw hadn’t produced Glorious Ninja (I’m assuming you didn’t tech him on turn 2!) the 4g spent on tech 2 could’ve had no immediate effect, anything else to spend it on?
I don’t want to give unsolicited advice (proceeds to do just that) so I hid it in the thoughts spoiler, but after the game if you want to read my ‘thoughts’ tab on this turn I wrote some things I would’ve done differently in your position for this game
@flagrantangles’s turn!
