maybe only things I would have done differntly in your shoes were to kill vandy rather than garth, or build tower instead of tech 2, to play around meta.

Akiata killed garth on P2T3, and garth was protecting Vandy at that point.

Good game, folks.
It wouldn’t have made a difference here, but I’d have played the Tiny Basilisk on Turn 6. It dies if James plays a second Death and Decay, but the game’s over if he plays it anyway, so there’s no point in playing around that.

I think tower before T2 would have been harder to deal with. As it is I just ignored your patrol on that turn in favour of doing damage and killing the T2 anyway, but with a tower your patrol would have actually been relevant. The ancient was scary later though if I hadn’t managed to fish for the D&D, so maybe not. GG definitely
