That Emblem was such a good call. it stopping geiger flicker + my tric shots was very annoying (I had to debate playing vir to give my stewardess invisibility to kill it against the argo as well as all the lines you mentioned).
I think the only thing I might have done differently is making sure I had teched double rememberer double stewardess. the fact that you dont need to draw the archons (effectively giving you 3 shots to hit a tech 3) is a really big draw to them.
Either way though, I was just really lucky that both archons where at the bottom of the deck. I messed up badly in the opening turns (note to self, every normally good card in purple starter is a lot worse in the mirror). I probs should have teched harder into gieger spells once I saw you go past, but I was so worried about my chances after he died, that I forgot that I had to win before tech 3 , so it really didnt matter.
Probably the game where I had to think the hardest about so many of my turns, would be really interesting to do again at some point ! (although maybe not when weāre both terrified about losing our spell casters!)
Yeah I think purple is gonna be one of the multicolours with the most odd interactions, i.e. using cards not for their usual purpose, so it was fun! Yeah iām annoyed at how little impact my tech 2 had, rarely seemed to have the right cards in hand so need to look at my teching and hand-size i think. Id be up for another match of this, i donāt mind if you want to wait until after tourney or start now? And yh letās try with no map either way?

Past is definetly an oddball. Iāve found it the hardest of the three specs to play well. The lack of interaction/fast plays really hurts, and its engine is not as resilient to being blown up as say Peace. Iāve heard other players say it can be unstoppable, but Iāve never managed it, nor really managed to dig into why they said so ( I imagine its the sudden tech 3 potential, or just theyāve played against lines that I havenāt explored yet, maybe slow time generator is actually just a monster?).
Iāve had mixed results, I find one of the things it needs most is loads of cards; I managed an 18hp to death once with 2 now!ed Golgurts from a RnD play for example. And I guess part of what slow-time does is mean that peopleās hands stay big because they can only manage to play cards every other turnā¦
main time iāve lost to Past that springs to mind was an Archon, but a lone Archon actually wouldnāt be instant game-over against Present anyway, youād certainly have a nice hand the turn after Archon came out!

so I could do a big turn and get out omegacron and hive and break the slow-time; but they could alnost definitely manage to protect their tech 3 afterwards and get a full reshuffle hand. i could also use 4 workers to get the omegacron out (and possible still PoP the hive) and play this game with 4g per turn( and make sure i dont lose that tech 2)

Yeah Iāve never actually known for sure but i always assumed that thereās no friendly attacking in this game (from the way that no one has done it to remove their own hero when they wanted a different one). As far as I can tell the only way u can remove that building is with a traitorous tricycloid
