My Thoughts
Well, no tech lab! And probably will continue not to be, Boly needs the tower, so that actually tracks. I’m not too afraid of Patriot Gryphon, but JIC let’s tech a Death Rites as well as a DnD. Might come down to a base race where my Dark Pacts come back to haunt me…

Griffin cost 8. You have 4+4+5+6+1 = 20 already on board. (To be honest, you would’ve win clearer with craw. At least it would be clear for observers) Also, you have 3 invisible heroes, it’s hard to kill at least 1, so at least 5 dmg to my base your next turn. Only from board, no things from your hand counted.
So I play hero and grif, some patrol. You destroy my patroller with garth, kill tower with orpal, deal 6+4+2 dmg, with 3 alive heroes and no detection from my side. 8 cost for peace t3 is too many.

Play meta is faster than build t3 and play t3, and attack with t3.

You’re probably right, I’m probably being naive and meant only good will by checking. GG WP! Gryphon costs too much. I didn’t want to fetch crow for fear of Zane shenanigans killing one of my demons
Waaaay too many. I thought it was 6 for some reason, and even then that’s steep for no immediate board impact AND only 6 attack? I thought he was 7/6, am I mixing him up with Lawbringer Gryphon? Yep I am…
So I could stop from killing buildings via the Abomination I’m holding + Orpal putting a rune on 'em? That’s rough. And I’m holding Shadow Blade also so you’re right about struggling to put up a ground defense that would outpace my attack output…
Peace T2 is wicked good though so hard to feel too bad, but yea that Patriot Gryphon is not very capable. And you’re kinda trapped from trying to go Gunships b/c of the Meta threat.
