It’s really impressive how Slow-Time generator plays well with Bloodburn, and I can’t help but keep asking myself if I shouldn’t have conceded the tempo loss from destroying STG on a previous turn when I had worker lead??? With the help of Purple, I could be having explosive turns, but I’m not. Anyhow, that’s not really on the table right now. My current options are: Geiger + TD on the Blooming Ancient, after Blooming Ancient and Jaina kill Rook, I TD BA into a Firebird. That actually contests one of the Shimmer Rays…no, both, because Bloodburn doesn’t have enough runes to ping. I can also move both runes off of Ancient and onto Nautical Dog, giving it 4 attack, which is ALMOST enough to break a tech building in one hit. I don’t think I want to break Slow-Time Generator at this point when I’ve got something strong going. Nautical Dog sets up for a Lobber tech break next turn

HAHA, he finally did it! Man, the value trade on slow time was HUGE. He lost maybe 25gold and created 5 workers without seeing any return until now, plus my stuff is much cheaper. meanwhile I plink away at all his stuff and set up this truly amazing turn.

This is by far the longest I’ve seen a Slow-Time Generator stick around, and one of the longest games I’ve seen in general. Very fun (albiet very slow) to spectate :slight_smile:

So i decided to do some analysis on the effect of slow time on this matchup. Even beyond the fact that 4g limit for present is TERRIBLE and just fine for past, i would say you also developed a worker advantage and then didnt break the STG to make use of it.

P2T4, i spent 5g on slow time with 8 workers
P1T5, had 8 workers, Cast Spirit of the Panda and made a worker
P2T5, had 8 workers
P1T6, had 9 workers, got 1g from panda, makes a worker, gives scav bonus
P2T6, had 8 workers, made a worker with scav
P1T7, had 10 workers, got 1g from panda, gave scav bonus
P2T7, had 9 workers, got scav bonus
P1T8, had 10 workers, no bonuses
P2T8, had 9 workers, no bonuses, created a worker
P1T9, had 10 workers, no bonuses
P2T9, had 10 workers, no bonuses
P1T10, had 10 workers, made a worker, gave scav bonus
P2T10, had 10 workers, got scav bonus
