We hope everyone enjoys posting and interacting in the Lounge, and to ensure that it remains an enjoyable place, it has especially robust moderation, proceeding directly to a one month final warning suspension or permanent ban of all posting privileges for infractions of the posting policies or guidelines. Read the forum guidelines. Being ignorant of or purposefully disobeying the intent of these forums and/or these guidelines will be dealt with strictly.
No Uneven Playfield Games
Fairness in competition is a core value of our company and something we think is important and worthwhile in the world. Please don’t discuss games where the developer has intentionally engineered material advantage to those who grind more (forced-grind) or pay more (pay-to-win or pay-for-advantage). If you did, it would make us cry inside. It’s directly opposed to our community’s values about fair competition. (Examples: Hearthstone, League of Legends, MtG.) If you want to discuss any other type of game, including our competitors’ games, we’re totally cool with that.
No Politics/Religion
Don’t post about politics or religion on our forums. These topics, even if brought up objectively, are best discussed elsewhere.
No Hatred or Discrimination
Hatred against individuals or groups in any manner, for any reason, will not be tolerated. This includes, among other things, not making posts about how you hate another user (contact a moderator instead) and not expressing discrimination of whole groups based on race, sex, sexual orientation, etc. While sexuality should not be discussed on our forums, we are sensitive to the struggles of the LGBT community; posts that make people of any sexuality feel unwelcome or lesser in any way will not be tolerated.
No Illicit Topics
This includes discussion about illegal drug use and how to pirate software, and also extends to any topics of an illegal nature that are deemed to not be pertinent to the discussions allowed in this forum.
Moderation is At Our Discretion
Like all moderation, we are within our right to take (or not take) actions we deem necessary based purely on our discretion.
